In response to the country’s call, the Macao Translational Medicine Center has committed to driving the development of the big health industry and supporting the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government’s "Healthy Macao Blueprint”. Meanwhile, the "Silk Road of Health", which is an integral part of the Belt and Road Initiative, positions Macao as a key platform and focuses on the big health industry, which will contribute to the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative.
The Macau University of Science and Technology Foundation is a non-profit organization recognized as an administrative public interest legal entity by the Macao SAR government. Its mission is to cultivate talent, develop academia, promote cultural exchange, and advance social progress through teaching, research, and providing services to society.

The Macao Translational Medicine Center has four translational medicine platforms focused on diagnosing major diseases, treatments, the development of traditional Chinese medicine, and the application of artificial intelligence and modern technology. These platforms are built around the latest advancements in life and health science.
